Miss me? Of course, how could you ever get enough of my cute belly? The humans were away last week so it was rather quiet around here. They went up and took their bikes around my home area of Western Massachusetts. I was happier at home. The Woman starts back into classes this week so more unreliability. You know...more of the same.

The meezer-rats caused loads of trouble while they were away. Lots of things stolen by one Kaze the Cat...she really does do a number on stuff when she is bored. Then there was the nip event. I got into the toy closet and pulled out a huge bag of PRIMO nip. Ah....pure bliss!! Latte played Mr. Perfect while Kaze and I took advantage of the sweet deal of no one saying the "N" word.

So what is new?? Can anyone catch us up on the news of the past week?

We know our really good friends Junior and Orion are auctioning a BEAUTIFUL quilt to benefit our friends in need, we can't wait to buy our tickets.

Man Cat Monday & Meezer Monday

I'm a big fan of gnawing on strings that are attached to bags. My absolute favorite strings are the JCrew bags because they are cotton and feel nice on my teefs.
I continue to be me. Chillaxing up a storm, it is quite exhausting, you know? I've been rather vocal with my cooing noises. They always tell me that for such a huge Man Cat I sound rather feminine.

There were massive amounts of fur removed from me yesterday. The Awesome Man brushed me while I growled in the Woman's face (it is all her fault anyway...). When they brought me inside I got all freaked out and did skitter feet and my entire tail got poofy as I ran away. The Awesome Man fell over laughing at me. Still...I blame the Woman.

Weekend report:

Kaze the Rat seems to have decided that I am her snuggle buddy. This I find annoying and it wakes me out of deep sleeps because with her comes angst and Latte. Yes, both rather annoying things. She just likes me because I'm warm anyway. To get back at her I used her as a bite-&-run partner even when she wasn't interested.

There were boomies and flashes and HAIL last night. I do not really do well with storms...I flat-cat (I crouch my body as low as it can go and run as fast as I can) and take cover until all is well. My usual hiding spot is behind the bathroom door but the Awesome Man has been keeping that door shut so I have to find a new place. I tried behind the couch but it just didn't feel right. Basically I had to flat-cat around through the whole storm.

The Urge to Purge

I am constantly finding new ways to get back at the Woman for existing. Yesterday I yakked in her lunch bag. She heard the whole thing too and came in to clean up a floor pile of yak only to find a yak filled lunch sack. Hahaha.....I crack myself up sometimes.

Meanwhile I showed my undying love to the Awesome Man. I love that man.


Big new! It is Skeezix the Cat's 4th Blogoversary ! Skeezix is the one who inspired us to blog almost 3 years ago now. We have read every single post he and his brother's have made in that time. Please go wish him a happy blogoversary. Remembering all of the exploits over the past four years reminded us why we love blogging so much. It also reminded us of a few choice words we use quite often that most humans don't understand. Thanks Skeezy, you have made our world a better place!

We're currently having a snow explosion here. There is so much snow the humans aren't even going to the work place due to all of the white stuff. Yesterday the Woman took us all outside to furminate us. I was last because I'm the furriest. I liked it for a while but it was rather tempting to try to run after the fev-vers out there. Eventually I grrr-owled at her because Man Cats do not like to be pampered. I don't know why she bothers, it isn't like I'm going to put less hair on the furniture or anything.

Watch out ladies, full frontal Man Cat coming at you! I've been practicing looking sweet and handsome since the Woman has been in one of those dark cloud over her head moods. Whenever she gets that way I have to give up my general apathy towards her and let her pet me, give her love eyes, and yes, even purr. Hopefully she cheers up soon because I lose a lot of nap time when I have to work so hard.

You know what I like? Normalcy. Things being the way they should be. The humans are back to being dull and boring on the weekends which is great for me. The Awesome Man even let me rub all over him for as long as I wanted, usually he pushes me away and tells me I'm annoying him. I've been in such a good mood I'm even snuggling and purring with the Woman. She's not always that bad and I guess she does feed us.

However don't think I now like her. I mean, how could I after the litter box fiasco? The Woman told Gamma that there was no need to change the pee pads while they were away because she would do it when they left and got back. So Gamma faithfully cleaned out our poo and fed us daily as well as playing with us and making sure we felt loved. Well, the Woman comes back and waits oh.....5 days before checking the Breeze pads. Apparently she forgot that she told Gamma not to change them. I'll tell you that 2 weeks of 3 cats peeing on one Breeze pad does not work too well. The Woman removed the tray and found a pad totally soaked and a pool of pee that splattered all over the floor. I laughed internally while watching her clean it up.

Meezer Man Cat Monday

The sun was out!!! The sun was out this weekend!!! I rolled around in sun spots and soaked up as much warmth as I could. Rolling around assures that your belly gets warm too! Chase said I get to post a picture today since I'm on a Simply Siamese vacation. He's such a nice big brother.
When you look as regal as I do, you can share a little with your younger brother. I shared that great list you all made with the Woman. She seems to understand a little bit better so on Saturday morning I went up and snuggled with her and purred for her too. Looks like we're turning over a new leaf.

So I know you all know that I'm just the coolest Man Cat of the family. The Woman still does not comprehend why I am everyone's favorite cat of our family. Every visitor who comes over is drawn to me and always discusses what a cool cat I am. So my question to you is what is your favorite thing about me? I want to make a list for the Woman to refer to, maybe she'll learn. Or not.

Well I should say double the man as you can see I'm hanging out with my favorite person. The weekend started off nicely with the humans house-bound due to record low temperatures. Then the AM got ridiculous and decided to go down a mountain on those stupid stick things- at night. He was even able to convince the stupid Woman that it would be fun. If he ever told me he was going to strap long sticks to my paws and point me down a mountain I would bite him- hard. I mean what the heck are these humans thinking exactly?

As for the cat weekend Kaze found nice trash to play with over and over and over and over again. You'd think the stupid Woman would stop throwing it in the small trash can if she didn't want Kaze to get it again. We had bacon time but the AM got all jazzed up that I refused to eat it from his icky human fingers. I mean those things are creepy, right?

I had a bit of an annoying Kaze weekend. Well, all weekends with Kaze are relatively annoying but this was worst than most. Saturday morning the lazy Woman rolled out of bed ridiculously later than work days so we were starving. We were so starving I actually had to share a bowl with Kaze. I edged her out eventually but I had to eat next to her tiny mouth that crunches very loudly for her size.

To add insult to injury there was bacon in the Awesome Man's breakfast. Now, he's MY Awesome Man so he should have waited for me after calling "bacon" but no.....he just put the plate on the floor while I was still sleeping. Kaze ate MY bacon. Even licked the bacon juice. I was left to lick the dregs that included Kaze spit. It was horrifying.

My Awesome Man has a thing for sweets. He likes his french toast to be covered in maple syrup AND powdered sugar. I sniffed around looking for something like chicken or tuna or something but he's boring and doesn't actually eat anything worth while.

Boy I'm glad its Monday! I know that's an odd statement but I have really missed seeing what's up with friends and whenever the Woman has time away from work she seems to act like she doesn't know how to open a computer. Back to the work place with her!!

We have just been trying to catch up on all of the news and we are just sickly sad to find out that Sen Chan has passed to the Bridge. What an incredible loss.

Aside from that rather interesting development we all three snuggled and purred on the Woman for a few minutes yesterday morning. She was blissful of course.

What a Christmas we had! It started with our fun package from the KoKo and his family.

Then, on Christmas morning I'm pretty sure Kaze was more excited than most human children. She was bouncing off of the walls and just incredibly excited. Since she wanted to be involved in everything she became the official ribbon holder. She took her task very seriously.


Then the Woman opened up a present for "her" and it was a Hepper Pod cat bed. I won't fit so I can only tell you that Latte loves it and sleeps in often and it even fits me very comfily! Kaze is not as thrilled...yet.


And the final thrilling part of Christmas was that the Woman got a new camera! The Awesome Man went all out and got her a Canon 40D which is many many steps above her XT. She was shocked of course and completely overwhelmed. For us this means even better pictures of us. Oh, and she got a book to explain it too so she's learning more about pictures. The Awesome Man thinks someday she could actually get paid for her cat photos if she takes them of other people's cats and not us.

On Saturday the Mail Man left a package at the front door. Of course I had to wait for the Woman to come home so we could take pictures when I opened it. It is a nip pad from my bestest friends Adan & Lego! I was so excited (the Woman was also leaping up and down)! Inside the card was to me (not the meezer rats) and it said I got to have the pad first. Can you guess who tried to usurp my gift first? I'll give you a hint....

Next....Latte decided it might be OK for him to take a turn on MY nip pad. It was not his turn. It is my turn, its always my turn.

As you can see I did eventually win after a few punches. I love my nip pad, it smells so nice and its really fun to ball it up and bite-bite it too.

Its here! That big tree that grows in the living room once a year. Along with the tree comes the underground spring. I love this fresh spring that brings nice pine flavored water that is never ending and bountiful. Mmmm..... Though I do have to wonder why this spring only comes around once a year because otherwise I have to share the Drinkwell fountain with the meezers (which, eeeewww!) or drink from the bathroom faucet which is more laborious than its really worth.

What a relief! The Woman has been like a changed person since she took that stupid test. She was really nervous and froze when she started the test but thinks she did OK. She's really really relieved just to be done and does have a good feeling about it. She had plenty of time left on all sections but now she has to wait 3 weeks to get the score. She wanted me to thank everyone for their support, it made her feel much better and more confident!

And the visitors were..... the humans from The Cats Stephens! Percy was really great to allow them to come visit us especially after his recent surgery and happy cancer free news. I really liked them both, but I especially liked this coat that came with them. Kaze did her best to freak them out while they were sleeping and Latte did the whole don't touch my head thing. All in all we approve of them and they were well behaved as far as humans go. I approve them as visitors in our house as the properly acknowledged my awesome Man Catness which is impossible to deny.

As the Woman says a HUGE weight has been lifted from her we are now able to visit our friends in a proper fashion starting on Tuesday. We've been reading what everyone is up to but we know commenting has been spotty at best. Thanks for hanging with us.

Oh Yeah and Kaze is still celebrating her Most Playful Cat win and the fact that her boyfriend cat made such a big deal about it.

That Awesome Man, I adore him. I love to give him front-hugs and tail poof. He gets a little annoyed when he's trying to concentrate on something and I'm trying to get his attention. He's a really good ear scritcher and makes me purr. Be jealous Woman, I will not purr for you unless its absolutely necessary.
