You know what freaks me out? When the Lap Lady cooks/bakes stuff. I won't go in the kitchen because its really freaky to me. Usually I'm her shadow but not when she's pacing around and mixing stuff and saying bad words. I do not like that. I thought holiday weekends meant lots of time with the humans? Why are mine never around?

Our Meowm seems to disappear alot during the holidays too! I think we are going to lodge a protest!

Mom kinda wishes we were more like you. She says she could get stuff done faster without all the "help."

Sometimes it's safer to stay away when Mom is in the kitchen ... your tail is less likely to get stepped on that way.

Kaze, yoo is right to be freaked out. Dat is way too much goin on fer us kittys too, so we hide (plus we wont get stepped on from da mom in the middle of stuffs).
We like cooking cuz all sorts of exciting things might fall on the floor.
Ohh man you does not know what you iz missing out on!! I loves it when Momma cooks!! hahha It's the washing up I hatezx.. it never fails I does rockets everywhere and gives Momma such a hard time.. she thinks it is because I iz angry she is cleaning up all my scavenging snackies! ( I like to scavenge in the mess after cooking to see what I can find).
