Frootbat Friday

I love to sit in my Lap Lady's lap, shocking- I know. It used to be all mine for the snuggling and purring and petting. Now Latte likes to show up and "share". Well his idea of sharing is licking my head until I move a little and then wedging himself between me and the LL's lap. He thinks he's so smart. The Lap Lady always wants me to be nice and "share" with him but I know his tricks, he's just trying to take my spot! Last night was no exception and when he tried and tried and tried and I whapped and whapped and whapped him away...eventually I had a little freak out. I attacked him with a bear hug- claws and teeth bared. My Lap Lady yelled at me really loud and shoved me off her lap for being so nasty.

Well. I. Never. I mean really!! I was so mad at her. She tried to get me all purry and I wouldn't. I squirmed away and sat on the floor and stared at her. She tried to get me to meeze and I wouldn't. I would meeze for the Tall Man and come over to him but not her. He even picked me up and tried to hand me to her but I was not having it. She made me MAD.

I made her sad for 15 minutes and then I won. The lap is now mine again.

P.S. Today is kind of a big day for the LL. Its her one year anniversary of being gluten free! She found out last year that she has Celiac's Disease which is an autoimmune disorder where you can't digest the proteins in wheat/barley/rye/etc. She hasn't eaten wheat in a whole year and she is healthy and happy and feels 1,000% more healthy and energetic.

Kaze, I just cannot condone that sort of behavior with Latte! Latte, come here with me. Gemini does the same nasty stuff.

No matter who could sit on her lap, the winner is you mom. Because she has your love~~ Hahahah~~
I bet she is laughing and so happy wondering how popular of her lap is!

It's hard to share, I know. Your profile is so elegant, Kaze.

Kaze, we are sorry you got shoved off of her lap. Your LAP lady should realize that it is your LAP and that you are jealous of having to share her attention, especially since she left you last week.

Well done Kaze, I make sure the Abys know that D'boy is all mine! Luckily Ramses is a Mummy's boy and Isis loves Daddy snuggles - I trained them from the get go and now I have the lap I want the most in the World! :) When he's away I share Dad and Mummy's lap time with Isis and Ramses, in fact I've even started to snuggle with them occasionally, but now My Boy is home I have a lap again! :)

Kaze, While I don't have to share my Meowms lap, I feel your pain about not being able to be on the lap. Meowm didn't let me get in her lap last night...she was busy ont hat 'puter thing and yakking on that ringy thing. I couldn't even get comfy on the chair behind her neck....so I bither on the head! And I am not sorry!!!

Concats to your LL on being gluten free. Meowm is working on getting us there first, then she is going to work on herself.

Sheesh! the Meowm really needs to re-learn spelling and where to put spaces!!!!!

We understand how hard sharing can be, Kaze. If we do not behave in Mom's lap, she puts us both down! How rude!

We hate sharing, but since Bert isn't much of a lap cat and Jake prefers Daddy, I usually get Mommy's lap all to my self!

Happy anniversary to your Lap Lady, that's pawsome that she is doing so well!

I can't believe she did that to you! I'm glad you showed her how mad you were. It's very important to communicate these things very clearly.
Happy Friday to you guys!

Love,
Tazo

PS - Happy gluten-free-aversary to LL!!! We're so glad she feels better.

Kaze, I just don't know WHAT she was thinking! Her lap is your lap, not Latte's. And you have every right to whap the furs off his little head for wormin' his way in!

Angus' Mom says: Congrats on being gluten free for a whole year! That's not easy to do, but the benefits do sort of grow on ya, don't they?

Good for you, Kaze! You should not have to share a lap and be pushed out of the way by Latte.

Congratulations to your LL on this milestone. Being healthy is most important of all!

Kaze, I am lucky, I am the only one that really likes to lay on laps, and it mainly has to be Daddy's. I guess I wouldn't want to share either if Sam or Simon tried to weasel their way in! Hopefully Latte will realize that the Lap Lady's lap is all yours ... hee hee! And please tell your LL that all of us are so happy that she is feeling so healthy after finding out what was ailing her!

I don't blame you for getting mad. All aps in this house belong to me, and the People know it. If Buddah ever tried to get on one with me in it, someone's gonna wind up all hurty, and it's not me!

Congrats to your LL for getting through the year gluten free. I think the Woman would fold after 3 days...

I sure am glad I only have to share a lap with a laptop, it doesn't mind at all when I spread out over it. You always have such pretty pictures... sigh, I wish my Mommy could capture my kitty escense.

Sharing is very hard. Its hard to share my girl beans bed when the mom comes sit down. I get all confused if Im suppose to rub on my girl or the mom.

Geez, Kaze, you sound like Coco. She is a very bad sharer. But it's good that your Lap Lady got lots of different furs on her lap with both you and Latte there. Congratulations to her on getting through the year with a whole new diet! That sounds very challenging.
