When I go Out of Doors I have to use my meezing as a sort of sonar to locate myself in relation to indoors (and where Latte is). When Latte goes outside I do my best "screamapillar" to get him to come inside. He never listens but the Tall Man thought I deserved a turn out there. You will notice that my mouth is almost never closed. That is because I take my screamapillar duties very seriously and announce every step so I don't get lost.

The Siamese who came before used to do that too Kaze. She also did that in a new space. She was, as the Woman said, "sounding the room" to find out what her calls would sound like so she could orient herself. I don't do that (much to the Woman's disappointment). Perhaps you could come visit and sound the yard for her?
Tiki liked to talk outside too if he was in the stroller. I like to do it in my harness. It is just part of being a meezer - we like to talk.
