On my Out of Doors Adventure I quickly found a VERY interesting scent. Very. Interesting. So I investigated.....Shrubs aren't usually interesting but this one smelled FABULOUS.
Meowmy did not let me get any closer than this because she said this was the tasty smell:
3 Baby Buns!!! They found three of them when they were doing yard work a few weeks ago. The little things were all confused and came out looking for their mom. Meowmy was all freaked out and didn't know what to do so she hit the all powerful Innernets. She found out that the baby buns would be just fine as long as the nest was put back kind of how it was. The mommy bun only visits the nest a couple of times a day for only a few minutes to keep predators away (Meowmy called me a potential predator which is unfair because I am the House Hunter!). The buns keep on growing and they seem to be leaving the nest now a bit too. We're keeping tabs on them. Oh, and Kaze couldn't even smell them.....she is such a bad hunter.

Oh but how very interesting! We had buns in our yard once. I think Georgia hunted one down... sigh. Poor buns.
Oah Wowww...Latte~!
Look at you found!!
Youa are just awesome!
Baby buns! That is so yummie. oh sorry Mom we meant cool. (Our mom is a stupid bunny-hugger and likes all animals so she always rescues everything tasty from us).
We saw 2 bunnies hop around our backyard yesterday. Mom said they were not the easter bunnies, they was real bunnies. Maybe that means there are baby bunnies around. Moooom, we want to go outside... to uh, play?
We've never had baby buns or even a grown up bun in our yard. Just squirrels, raccoons and the occasional possum. They are very cute! I hope you get to see more of them.
Oh baby bunnies! How exciting! We get bunnies in our fields but we can't get out of the garden on our own to catch, umm talk to them and when we are out with mum she tells us to leave them alone.
Baby buns! We've had some of those in our yard too! But we've never been that close to them...
Oh this is so cute, I've never seen baby buns before! Well at 8 weeks old there are lots of things I've never seen before! ;)
purrs,

Oh goodness we get so many baby bunnies here. I think our neighborhood is over run. Aren't they adorrrrable as babies? Once daddy was mowing and we put all of the babies in a cardboard box so he could mow, then we built the grass nest/house back up for the mom.
Happy Monday
Do yoo fink dat they are the Easter bunnys babies? Dat wud be neat!
SQUEEEEEE! I am glad you didn't make a snack out of them!
Those baby buns are very cute, indeed. It was nice of you to check on them.

Good job sniffing those out, Latte! I have never seen tiny bunnies before. Maybe the Easter Bunny laid them.
Sweet babies!!! We are glad they are growing and staying safe!!
Cute babies! I'm kinda glad your Meowmy figured out what to do with them. We had some in the back yard a couple of years ago. But I'm not comfortable talking about what happened to them. I got in lots of trouble. Sorry you had to know that about me.
Your pal,
Titus
That sounds so cute to see. We're glad you got to go out and explore.
O wowie zowie - you're amazing, Latte! My mom's squeeing over the babies - you know how moms are. ;-)
You had a very interesting outing. I never go outside, so I have to live vicariously though other kitties, like you.
At firsted I thought you had a dead mousie, but mousies don't have ears that big.
Don't yoo be dissin' Kaze, bro.
Those little creatures looks cute - and tasty.
