The Toy Man convinced Meowmy that I didn't need my leash attached and it was so much more fun! I rolled around in the dirt and lay on the driveway. Of course this adventure got me stuck with flea medicine on my back since Meowmy got freaked out that I might bring bad buggies inside. At least we all got the flea crap.

Kaze in a Basket

Yup....I'm in a basket. I jumped in to see if I could find the tree that used to live in the basket but I'm pretty sure it is deaded and gone. My humans are horrible with keeping plants alive so it really isn't too much of a shock. So now there is an empty basket on the front porch just sitting there. So I investigated and found plant smells and got my paws slightly dirty. It was less interesting than I expected.

Meezer Monday

What an exhausting weekend! Meowmy was pretty much never home but when she got home last night I made her at least post my picture. Between Snap, helping friends, and the trifecta of birthdays she came home last night and passed out.

The Tall Man is a bit off his rocker... Gamma and Gampa gave him a punchy bag thing for the dungeon. So he hung it from a rafter....and I swear he is trying to pull the house down when he uses it!!!!!! It came in an awesome box that we ALL enjoyed...including the Tall Man.

Meezer Rules

My night time antics have stepped up a notch. I've now found a new place to hide when Meowmy tosses us kitties at 3am. So, I wake her up by boob walking or paper walking. Then, I dart to my secret hidey spot while she picks up Kaze and Chase and tosses them out. Then....10 minutes later I slowly make my way up to the bed and wedge mysef between the humans into a meeezer tube. Ah...purring and snuggles and all of the attention on ME. It takes way too much for me to get the attention I deserve

Toysday

So this nice lady e-mailed us to see if we wanted to try a toy and review it. Well....yeah! I am the World's Most Playful Cat after all. The toy is called the Crazy Cat Cat Quest. However I do not like that name, in fact I don't believe it is a "toy". It is a dragonfly and it really flutters and I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Seriously....even more than the whirly-bird. The thing lands and then it will just start fluttering its wings and take off! I don't think the humans even interact with it (um yes Kaze, it is on a wand and we press a button to flutter the wings).

Sometimes I let Latte have a shot at it....he catches it in his mouth or his paws and tries to run away very proud of himself.
OK, so the best news is that we get to hold a contest where you can win one of these!!! We haven't worked all of the details out yet but we'll keep you posted. If you are hunting cat or a leaping cat or any sort of playful cat (well not Chase though, he is rather disinterested) you will love this toy.

Weekend report:

Kaze the Rat seems to have decided that I am her snuggle buddy. This I find annoying and it wakes me out of deep sleeps because with her comes angst and Latte. Yes, both rather annoying things. She just likes me because I'm warm anyway. To get back at her I used her as a bite-&-run partner even when she wasn't interested.

Ah....sun.....Spring is here!!

I am one who feels all of my emotions deeply and completely.  I feel joy with all of my being, mischief through every whisker twitch, and fear when my ears go flat.  Even the Tall Man thinks I'm the most expressive creature he's ever met.  My philosophy in life is to feel everything and make no excuses.  I wear my heart on my stripey sleeves for all to see.

Dear Adoring Fans

It has come to my attention that there is not nearly enough Chase time on this blog. You know, I used to be numero uno around here, the only cat. Believe it or not the Woman and I used to be friendly. She'd scratch my back, I'd massage her neck while licking it at the same time. We used to even play Thundering Herd of Elephants together. I liked to be chased and then we'd take turns and I would Chase her. She was a pretty good company and she'd leave me alone when I wanted to be left alone. While I am much more bonded with the Awesome Man I will try to communicate to my fans more through the Woman.

Uncool things about the Woman
1. She calls me fat.
2. She calls me lazy.
3. She tells me I snore.
4. She thinks she deserves more of the AM's attention.

Cool things about the Woman
1. She feeds me.
2. She pays attention to when I don't feel well.
3. She lets me snuggle with the AM at night.
4. She makes sure I have comfy napping spots.

Still.....I don't have to like her...right?

Trio Tuesday

So we all had a conference which really turned into a snuggle pile/nap. The Lap Lady found us and was so happy we were all working together. She took the opportunity to talk to us about blogging.

As you know, the Lap Lady is going to be starting law school at the end of May. Just work alone is stealing loads of her time (she used to have most of the day to comment on blogs). She told us that she loves us very much and she knows how important our blogging family is to us (she said you all matter a ton to her as well). We will not stop blogging but we have to say we will not be able to comment on your blogs consistently. This makes us super duper sad. She said she will help us try to read and keep up with everyone but she just doesn't have the time to work/school/snuggle/ride snap/etc. She's doing her best as this blog is an integral part of our lives. We know that while many of you don't comment you do keep up on our antics and for that we thank you. We are even more appreciative of our incredible friends who comment no matter what, even when we're 8-10 days out on your blogs (Chey, Tama-Chan, Eric & Flynn, Adan, Parker, and SO MANY others).

You know, we've all been through some really tough times together. We've laughed, and we've cried, we've loved, and we've loathed with you all. So while our presence is fading we hope you all fondly remember the past 3 years as we do. Again, we aren't going away, just scaling back. Every one of your comments is cherished, appreciated, and savored by us all!

Meezer Monday & Bunday

On my Out of Doors Adventure I quickly found a VERY interesting scent. Very. Interesting. So I investigated.....Shrubs aren't usually interesting but this one smelled FABULOUS.

Meowmy did not let me get any closer than this because she said this was the tasty smell:
3 Baby Buns!!! They found three of them when they were doing yard work a few weeks ago. The little things were all confused and came out looking for their mom. Meowmy was all freaked out and didn't know what to do so she hit the all powerful Innernets. She found out that the baby buns would be just fine as long as the nest was put back kind of how it was. The mommy bun only visits the nest a couple of times a day for only a few minutes to keep predators away (Meowmy called me a potential predator which is unfair because I am the House Hunter!). The buns keep on growing and they seem to be leaving the nest now a bit too. We're keeping tabs on them. Oh, and Kaze couldn't even smell them.....she is such a bad hunter.

I went on an Out of Doors adventure after I screamed at Latte for a long time. I don't have my own harness since I'm not a huge Out of Doors success story. I scream a lot out there. Anyhow, I thought this next picture really shows off my movement. I have a very interesting gait and have been told I look nothing like a cat when I'm walking around.
After sniffing around in the garden for a bit I walked down the side of the house and saw an EVIL SQUIRREL out in the open!! I crouched down flat and my body tensed like a spring....suddenly I....yelled at the squirrel at the top of my lungs. My LL calls me a hunting failure. Hey, I thought if I told it where to go it would just jump in my belly!

Thankful Thursday

Well last night was the first night of Passover so that is always a good time to be thankful for the freedoms we all have. That and the lack of bloody rivers, locusts, etc. Anyhow....I'm thankful for my amazing friends who wished me a happy birthdayish. I haven't had a chance to come around and thank everyone (ahem...useless help....) but I will try! The useless help (I really should just call her that all of the time) is studying for yet another annoying test, this one is the GRE. Apparently if she does well on it she can get some moolah towards her tuition. Gosh I'm dead sexy aren't I? I mean look at me!

Meezer Rules Wednesday

There is a big difference between mirrors and glass. Looking into a mirror will reflect a meezer face. Looking through glass will get you a crazy sibling following your every move and screaming at the top of her lungs.

I'm 9ish

Sometime around nowish is my birthday. I'm 9 or something oldish like that. I was born sometime in April and no one really knows when I was born so I share the day with our horse. So yeah, Snap is 8 today. All of these birthdays make the Woman realize how ridiculously fast the past 5 years have gone by. Anyway, feel free to party, grab some food, and wreak some havoc!!

Meezer Monday

Spring at last!!! Meowmy's daffies finally bloomed so I went out of doors to check them out. Daffies are the Toy Man's most favoritest flowers. It was a lovely weekend here with all sorts of exciting sounds, smells, and sights.

On the Meowmy/lawschool front, she went to her accepted students day at Rutgers Law- Camden. Apparently she is going to have a ton of time to spend with us kitties for the next few years!! She always lets us sit in her lap when she is reading so I'm sure that means we'll get lots of love. Snap is going to miss out since there will be not much Snappy time. She said she loves the school and the brand new law building. She is nervous, but excited to start in May.

You know I get a rather bad reputation regarding being "bad". I'm such a lover, I am always purring and rubbing on things. My favorite thing to rub on right now are things that my Lap Lady has worn. #1- shoes #2-bras. I find both of these to really have the essence of her so I rub all over them and purr so she won't forget about me when she is at the work place. I've also made sure she has a larger than life sized portrait of me hanging in her office.

Attack cat!

Kaze thinks she is so fast and lethal but she is no match for me! I go for the soft fleshy parts, when I bite, it has to count. I stalk slowly and steadily and then.......FAST like a bolt of lightning I go after her soft front-butt. Then I am gone like the wind and she can't catch me.
