Thankful Thursday

Today I'm doing the thanks for the Woman. Yesterday was a big day for my Woman. She went to her doctor's appointment and the doctor man was able to help her where 5 other doctors in 10 years couldn't. So she's pretty happy about that.

Then she and the Awesome Man went to the Drexel University Law School for an information session. The Woman was not really all that impressed. They are only provisionally accredited by the ABA so she didn't think they needed to be so uppity.

She has to go to a school that understands that while she takes school seriously she has a business and cats to make happy and take care of. So she decided that if she has to go all out then she's going all out and aiming for the University of Pennsylvania. Its ivy league and that scares her but her advisor from undergrad thinks it could happen and the Awesome Man tells her all of the time she has to have confidence in herself and her abilities. Its certainly not a guarantee but it could happen and she needs to aim for her very best or not bother at all. Right? (She doesn't want me to say this but she's TERRIFIED).

She's gonna be in the Ivy League? What sport is she gonna play? I'll watch her on TV.

Oh...I have just been informed that not all leagues mean sports are involved.

Hmmm.

Either way, aiming for UOP is a god thing even if she doesn't get on TV! But warn her, if she learns too much, her head might pop.

You must tell your Momma that being terrified is normal and it keep you on your toes! :P hehe

You can do anything you want to, it is just depending on what you want to do to get there? ;)

I did not know that the Uni was top, Mommas uncle is a professor or some word like that their, they moved there, from here so they could teach many many years ago :)

We are glad the doctor was able to help the Lap Lady! Good luck to her with her law school applications. Our mom will be going through something similar when she applies to do her Masters in Physiotherapy when we all move back to Canada.

Good luck to the Lap Lady. It's natural to be scared of something as big as that, but we bet she can do it.
We're glad the doctor could help her.

Hooray that the Doctor was able to help! That's the best news of all!

Yay! Yay! Yay! for the University of Pennsylvania. If it's worth doing, then it's worth being a little terrified.

Chase, we are so glad your Woman is going to have a doctor that will help her, we know that is such a relief for her! Please tell there there is nothing wrong with being terrified about undertaking something so new and important as going to the U of PA, our Momma would be frozen with fear just at the thought of it ... hee hee!

Law school huh? Does that mean we can pull out all the lawyer jokes and use them?

Seriously, we wish her all the luck in the world to get in!

Mama says it's ok to be askeered, but don't let fear stop you from trying. The worst they can say is no and that just means that it wasn't the right time for that. (((hugs))) to your lady.

Tazo

Yay grad skul. Your mom is really smart and I am going to encourage her to go for it. Both of my bean girls went to W&M and it is a tough college with loads of smart people that are too busy to drink and party.
I know your lady will be successful and if you have to move to PA that would be cool too.

as always, chase you are such a cool guy
I am very happy that your mom has finally found a smart doctor to help her. best wishes for that.
