Today I really need your help. What should I do? Last year I entered our town's Pet Pageant on the 4th of July and I won lots of blue ribbons! My Meowmy was really proud of me. But....there were sticky people. And even though I was safe in my stroller they poked at me and tried to touch me like I was a stuffed-meezer. There were also LOTS of woofies there but they go against each other and not kitties. So what do you think? Should I go again?

We were wundering today if yoo were gonna compeet agin this yeer!
I think yoo shood rest on yer lawrels and bag it for this yeer. Who wunts to spend a day with woofies and sticky peepul?
Mao is probably right, but you would disappoint all your adoring hometown fans if you did not compete. Of course, it's not really a fair competition with you in it. Good luck with your decision.
Happy Independence Day to all of you and your people.

Latte, you look great on your harness! Since you are safe in your stroller, as long as you aren't too upset by the event, then the pageant sounds like fun! But if it bothers you too much, then don't go.
Maybe your mom could make some signs to put on your stroller, like the ones they have at cat shows, that say "please don't touch." Of course, some sticky people are really small and can't read, but hopefully their parents would be there to keep them under control.
I agree with Dragonheart and Merlin~!
Keep your condition in safe is more important!
Kaze, you've been given a lot of good advice. I don't think I can add any more to it, except "Let your conscience be your guide."
But, speaking of awards... you have earned one from It's all Good. Congratulations!
I think if you had fun, you should go for it. but if it was to stressful....then hang out at home and nap.
I vote for the stay home and nap! After all, you've been there, won that!
Did you have fun? You should only do things that are fun.
Do the blue ribbons taste yummy?
I do not know Latte. I think if you are happy with your ribbons you can stay home and rest on your laurels!
I would think you'd be safe in your stroller, but those sticky people are super tricky. And sticky.

Put a I BITE sign with big teeth on your stroller! then the sticky beans wont touch you!! :D ~Queen Snickers
This is a very, very hard decision. I like Snickers' idea the best.
I think you should go so you can win more ribbons.
However, someone is going to have to do something about the sticky people, either you or your Meowmy. Who growls the loudest, you or her? Just kidding. I think your Meowmy is going to have to tell the sticky kids "don't touch/bother the cat or stroller" because some of the sticky people might not be able to read and some parents are oblivious to what their sticky people are doing.
Maybe I can lends you the Giant Kitty for a day! He can hiss at those sticky people. He hisses very well!
That's a tough choice - we really hate sticky beans so we'd stay home, but those ribbons sure sound neat!
Thanks for telling us about the vishus deer in Valley Forge, it's a good thing Mommy and Daddy didn't get out of the car.
All I know is you're already a winner in my book!
Hi. I'm coming late to this discussion but from what I hear, fame always comes at a price. Everybody wants a piece of you. And when one is so handsome, people just can't help wanting to touch! I'll be checking out the site eagerly tomorrow to see what you decided.
By the way, Tom, #1 and I were wondering about Kaze's name? We know it means "wind" in Japanese... is that it?

That's a toughie! Ribbons are really neat, but the sticky ones...ugh.
I think you should do it, but like Snickers said put a sign out.

We think you should do it, but make sure your mommy lets sticky people that it is okay to look but not touch.

Latte, we know we would be scared to death of something like that, so we have to say no. But then again, we never, ever leave our home except when we have to go the V-E-T. But since you have been brave enough to participate in a pageant before, then perhaps you should go for it again! We would give you a blue ribbon from each of us for sure, because you are such a gorgeous meezer!

I think you should go, as long as you have your humans to protect you from the little sticky things and woofies.
Me being me, I wouldnts want to go, I dont like lots of noise and sticky beans.
I would be too afraid to go at all but if you enjoyed it last year, you might like it this year too. And, of course, you would win more blue ribbons! Hope you have a terrific holiday either way!
