Thankful Thursday
Thankfully the search for the new metal monster is over! That Woman is lucky she is a partner in the company because I don't think most bosses would like you to spend an entire day searching for deals on metal monsters. She got a good deal though- better than she thought she could. So now the way metal monsters work in our family is that this new car gets parked in the garage for all time. The "old" car that is 4 years old and has 2,700 miles on it (I'm not kidding) is now the daily driver. I will say my humans work together so they only need to drive one car most of the time. You all know I love my Tall Man but....he's pretty crazy with cars. So yeah, now life can get back to normal and we can actually read what our friends are up to and post some comments and have the humans at home at night. And no, the Woman still hasn't ridden Snap since Saturday so yeah, she's REAL cranky now. So tomorrow after work the AM had better be ready to get to the barn with her.

Your bean really drive the car very very long long way!!
Ah, my Dad's nutty about cars too! He's always getting magazines about them that aren't at all comfy to sleep on... ;) As for cranky Mummy's they're a bad thing too, especially when they won't be good and do what you tell them to do!
Hi Chase! I'm glad the search is over!
The 'old' car is 4 years old and only has 2,700 miles on it? That's only 675 miles a year!! Mom doesn't understand... Mom's has 106,000 miles on it, is 10 years old and plans to drive it another 4-5 years.
We hope your Mom gets uncrankified soon!
2,700 miles. Really? Are you sure you didn't forget a zero or two? Well, I'm glad that they have a new one and your Mom and get back to doing what she enjoys.

Is it Snap that's cranky, or That Woman? That metal monster better be pretty good, especially if it gets to live in the garage all the time.
wow, our mom puts that many miles on in a month.
I am glad that you have a new metal monster! YEAH!
Searching for those metal monsters can be a real pian (or so my Meowm says), so give the Woman and the AM a gentle headbutt for all the hard work.
Wow, that's a very interesting system! Our humans only have one car, but Munich is a great city for other forms of transport: walking, running, cycling, etc., and the public transit system is fabulous.
It sounds like things are calming down around your house. I hope your AM can spend loads more time with you now.
love,
Tazo
How does your mom have so few miles on her car? It seems like that one must be almost like new!
Merf! The FL's bloo masheen is 4 yeers old and it has 75,000 miles on it. Are yoo shur that isn't a typo?
I has so much to catch up ons!
I has to agree goin back to normal is a goods thing.
Yea A picture of my Chase! Me is guessing it is a type O's. Our blu wheely box dat got crunched was 4 years old an was just a few miles away froms 100,000. ~Empress
Glad to hear your news Chase! Hopefully everything will settle down now.
My peeple go to the same playc evryday too. Thay jes haff the Shevvie. Daddy wants an ess yoo vee but I heer it costs too much to feed. If it costs too much thay mite jes trade in the Shevvie!
Wow...The Woman has put more miles on her rumbly bike since August! My people are kinda the same way...if only one vehicle can be in the garage, the bikes get to stay there and the car has to stay outside. If it was 2 cars, the new one would get the garage. Like it matters. They're slobs and will just put trash on the inside, anyway...
Sure glad the search is over - congrats on the new metal monster!
Congratulations to your Woman on getting a new metal monster. Now she should have more time to devote to all of you!!
Regarding the mileage on the old car, are they driving it to the train station and parking it? I put a little less on our car, but I never go anywhere, don't work, and Sunny's Daddy has a company vehicle.
Sorry, I forgot to say, that's a great picture of you, Chase :-)
