Frootbat Friday

Hi everyone! Do you like how my frootbat ears are illuminated? They're kind of like little solar panels.

Do you know that my Tall Man stole my work in progress bag/receipt masterpiece? It was only there for 10 days in the middle of the food eating room. It forced me to find some other toys and I found a nice squiggle to play with. I'm still trying to teach my Lap Lady how to properly play fetch.

Step 1- get a squiggle (or sparkle ball if you can).
Step 2- throw it for me.
Step 3- I will bat it around for a bit and bring it close to you but further than when we started.
Step 4- throw again.
Step 5- I bring it back and drop it even further away.
Repeat until human gets up and retrieves the squiggle.

My Lap Lady doesn't get the whole getting up thing first. I'm still patient with her.

That's a fabulous photo of the sun shining through your ears, Kaze! :)

Sorry to hear your masterpiece-in-progress was ruined.

We both like to play fetch. Dragonheart plays fetch with hair elastics, but I do it with wand toys! I take the wand toy in my teeth, drag it up and down the stairs (it makes a very cool noise when it hits the railings along the stairs) and then deposit it in front of my mom again. (I do this with a wand toy that consists of a plastic handle and leather strings on the end. It's so much fun!) - Merlin

It is a real shame about your art work, I too have had some taken from me recently... It seems I'm supposed to look for alternative art materials and not use wage and credit card receipts when I want to make some confetti as a part of a more major art project! But the squiggle game is good! I have a catnip squiggle that I just love to carry around with me like a kitten, the 'nip froggy will do if the squiggle is missing though. My best trick is to bring them to bed with me in Mummy and Daddy's bed when they're not looking! ;)

I'm sorry your artwork got throwed away. That is just wrong. You worked so hard on it.

I'm not much into fetch, but it's fun to watch Mom throw the frisbee and then have to run after it (because I won't). hehe

I love your illuminated froot bat ears. I wish mine were see through like yours.

Your pal,
Titus

The Tall Man stole your art!!!??? How could he!? I guess you will have to start another and keep it in a secret spot.

It is so hard to train beans! they just don't get how to play! Good luck with training your Lap Lady!

I love how the light shines through your ears! Good luck teaching your bean to play fetch. It seems to work better if your a woofie baby. Momma throws balls for Renna, puppy brings them halfway back, then momma goes and gets it and throws it again!

Training humans can be so challenging and frustrating Kaze!

Those are lovely ears! Why don't humans understand to leave our stuff where it belong?

Parents are so inconsiderate aren't they. To throw away your work in progress.

And beans can't play fetch worth a darn. They really suck at it.

I know eggzactly how you feel, Miss Kaze..my mom keeps pickin' up the extra fevvers I have layin' around and she puts'em in the trash..which I then have to knock over to retrieve..then she takes the trash out! What is she thinkin'?

Your frootbat ears look like radar dishes, especially when they swivel..maybe they make a little, "woo-woo" sound when they do.

Great ear illumination picture. Keep working with your Lap Lady, she'll figure the game out soon enough.
